The veteran consulting group is? doing some good things to help you get the most out of your benefits and the benefits you deserve.
My Disclaimer
First disclaimer for me; I have no affiliation, nor have I ever contacted them (yet), or used any of their services. They are not informed of this blog nor of this writing… Yet.
Always Putting It Off
In my full-time gig, I work with a number of veterans and many of us, including myself, have one form or another of a “service-connected disability.” We all know how much of a pain it is to get the rating in the first place, so my bet is most of us tend to just stop after we finally get it and ignore furthering issues. You know, the knee bone is connected to the hip bone type thing. If one had a problem, it is quite likely that over time, another issue became prevalent due to the injury of the originally claimed connection, and we did nothing about it in regards to our connected rating.
Seems legit and well referred
Recently a co-worker and fellow Marine told me about this company that helps guide service connected veterans through a process to get the most out of benefits they deserve. He says they apparently focus on the additional issues that occur as a result of the original connected disability. Also, they re-address the original connection to make sure the veteran is getting the most out of that rating and can also assist with other issues that may have been denied or not addressed at all.
He advised of multiple other local veterans using this consulting service, who had impressive results, and came highly recommended to him. At this time, he has just started the process and did not have any further information, so we will have to follow up.
All in all, it sounds very promising and I look forward to seeing what they can do. If nothing for me, I will be sure to report back and inform of what they can do.
